"Name Change Simulator" by DollWorx Interactive
"Name Change Simulator" is a volunteer activism project that assists users in filing name and gender change applications in the form a free-to-play visual novel, the launch trailer for which accrued over 16,000 views on TikTok. Users chat with Lauren Ipsum, an ID application extraordinaire, and receive a ready-to-file PDF of their state’s forms downloaded to their desktop. DollWorx Interactive's mission with this project is to provide a service that makes an infamously convoluted process much more user-friendly. procedures and forms for name and gender updates vary by state, and sometimes even county; Name Change Simulator aggregates, simplifies, and gamifies this initial phase of the process to make it more much more accessible. I served as the game's Art Director and UI Designer overseeing a team of artists throughout v1.0's development.

In my three years with them, I developed in-game assets and advertisements for over 38 games! In addition, I developed content for experimental applications such as 360 signs for multi-cabinet pods, and templates for game assets, character rigs, prototyping for nontraditional displays, and more. Education & Animation with ASIFA-South & RE:IMAGINE ATL
In my time with ASIFA-South, the Southeastern US Chapter of the global animation network ASIFA International, I've had the privilege of serving on a number of animation projects and community events as a former committee member and acting liaison. I've participated in content creation and project management as a media producer in the marketing department to create advertisements, social media posts, and event materials such as the spot promo for ASIFAC 2020 and trailers and screning blocks for ASIFAC 2024, the organization's bi-annual festival and conference. I've also had the pleasure of serving as a compositing and animation mentor in ASIFA-South's partnership with RE:IMAGINE ATL's apprenticeship program EMERGE, providing lectures, professional consultation, and critical feedback for up-and-coming artists from marginalized communities. I was featured as an industry guest speaker for their July 2024 monthly creative mixer, and I regularly enjoy presenting and hosting workshops on finding success and optimizing a sustainable career in the arts and entertainment industry.
